Gone ....but not forgotten

Hello everyone.... with 2009 recently behind us ...no doubt some of us have had to deal with the loss of a loved one.
The effects of death often is described as 'sting' ....that's how it leaves the loved ones feeling over the loss. Even those long gone are never forgotten. We have the assurance of John 5:28,29 that they reside in God's memory. For the present we must press on each day even at times when we smile on the outside but inside still cry.
We also have better days to look forward to.....when the things that we experience today will be a thing of the past...in fact no longer called to mind. Rev. 21:3,4 the loving gesture of our Heavenly Father wiping our tears and the end to death.
